Beautifully handled, Jessica! The background is so pretty and uncluttered… I like the way she is gripping that reed also…! They are such interesting and fun birds to watch at this time of year, aren’t they?
How is Anya?
Thanks, Kat! I only got two frames before she flew off, so I was happy! I love my almost daily visits to Samuel Smith Park at Lakeshore and Kipling – I have been spending time in that park since I was a kid, and I just find it to be a magical place. The bird species seem to be expanding a lot, too!
Anya is great! She’s totally recovered, and hair almost grown in – nearly ready to start modelling again! Stay tuned, LOL!
I like the way you composed this shot and the soft background – very nice.
Thank you very kindly, Bill, I appreciate your comment. :-)
Lovely comp and wonderful use of DOF.
Thanks, Sylvia. :-)
Lovely capture my friend! I went to High Park today and the cherry trees are in full bloom. Too pretty! I send my regards.
Hello! I wanted to go this evening; our neighbour told us of the blossoms as he was there on Sunday. Maybe Thursday I might get out there. My warmest regards back to you, friend!
