Another glorious and epic walk for Anya and I at Samuel Smith Park, Etobicoke, ON. She is now 9 months old, and is indefatigable. Walks are long (1.5-3 hours) and it is a mutually beneficial relationship when I have my camera at the ready!

Post-production in PSE 8 with Nix ColorEfex Pro 3.0 Brilliance/Warmth Filter and Orton effect.

That’s just a beautiful photo, Jessica, in every way. Excellent composition drawing the eye right down that path and the framing via the trees is sooo lovely….perfect depth of field and the colors are so pretty and soft and slightly muted by the fog…. and of course, your Anya, is showing a pup’s happiness at being free to run and you have communicated the sense of motion as she, I assume, runs towards you!

Definite fave and congratulations on your feature – very well deserved.

Pats to your pretty girl from me!

  • Thank you so much for your lovely comments! :-)

Wonderful light and colour harmony—and I love the wonderful contrast between the serenity and stillness of the scene and the free spirited motion of the dog! Many congratulations on your Feature!
