The frog… again, as this is an older photo and not documented, this unknown frog species was probably photographed around Lake Scugog, as I recall. Ontario, approx. 2005.

Update: I am told this is most likely a female Green Frog. Thanks, Susan!

    The timpanum (ear drum circle) is usually the same size as the eye in female aquatic frogs and larger in males. Also,male Green Frogs have yellow throats at maturity. The only other species this could be is a mink frog but you need to see the feet and smell them:-) I would put my money on the species being the common Green Frog.(which can range from colors of green and brown) Thanks for asking! ~Susan
