thank you :) the tour was going down into the caves and everyone was looking forward (the other way).. I looked back and saw what awesome shadows were being cast on the ground! :D

You did the right thing stopping to take a better look. I regret some of the times I didn’t stop and get a shot of something I may never see again. The lighting in there was perfect for it.

it was actually a really hot day.. summer in Bda :P but I suppose it was a bit cooler in the entrance to the cave :P

Funny how the title of this made me look at the shadow on the floor which seems to have nothing to do with the view outside the gate… it’s like the shadow is trapped and locked in. In fact, it’s shaking the gate trying to escape. Like there’s some serious voodoo going down! I presume that’s what you were going for with this, so I guess I’m just stating the obvious… maybe it just blew me away more than anyone else? Nice work.

haha well this image was rather spontaneous as the tour was going down into the caves and I just happened to look behind me to see this awesome shadow.. I stopped for a sec to take just a few shots and I really did want the focus to be on the shadow. The outside is just typical outdoors, which is why I really toned it down (but left just a hint of colour so it separates it a bit from the inside area). Glad you liked it :)

I love this shot. The bars and the shadows make it look as though your trapped and you want to get out.
