This was the first temple I went to in Kyoto, Toji Temple. The buildings were just huge! And so impressive… The 5 storied Pagoda in this picture is actually the tallest woden building in Japan. Trying to imagine how they built this incredible structure just boggles my mind. It was a truly impressive sight!
