I’ve been watching a family of Long Tailed Tits at the University of York for several days, hoping to gain their confidence so I could get really up close & personal with them. Today I found the ground staff had removed a fence and appear to be starting a clearance. OUCH!, the area is a butterfly & bird haven. But the missing fence allowed me access into the brambles and there was this little chap(ess),demanding food. I was able to get a series of images & then left him to lunch, a green caterpillar and something with wings. A delicacy to a tiny bird.
He’s worth viewing large if you have the time and/or inclination

And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.”

This sky where we live
Is no place to lose your wings.
So love, love, love.
Human beings are members of a whole,
In creation of one essence and soul.
If one member is afflicted with pain,
Other members uneasy will remain.
If you have no sympathy for human pain,
The name of human you cannot retain.
“Of one Essence is the human race,
thus has Creation put the base;
One Limb impacted is sufficient
For all Others to feel the Mace ”
