Humming Bird Hawk Moth 3 by

The summer of 2006 was wonderful butterfly year in England. I photographed my first ever Clouded Yellow with wings open, a rarity. I saw and photographed my first ever Camberwell Beauty, a VERY rare visitor to Britain. And for 15 glorious days in September, 2 Humming Bird Hawk Moths visited several times a day at quite predictable times

This sky where we live
Is no place to lose your wings.
So love, love, love.
Hafiz حافظ

Human beings are members of a whole,
In creation of one essence and soul.
If one member is afflicted with pain,
Other members uneasy will remain.
If you have no sympathy for human pain,
The name of human you cannot retain.

Oh wow, Jesika! I am honoured that you brought out this gorgeous critter for me! I first saw these in the mountains of Italy and thought they were birds, but have since learned otherwise! Love it! Bravo and thanks! ;o) Krys
