Fan fare and drum roll
The Fulford Village Fair (York) is held on August Bank Holiday Monday every year with stalls, games, childrens’ & parents’ races, tug of war, mini steam engine rides, sometimes a tank and always a fire engine.
In the Exhibition Hall you will find giant carrots, perfect onions, red roses, paintings, cakes, bread, embroidery, handicrafts and photographs. This year I entered for the first time, submitting two images.
Icy Diamonds took second prize in the General Black & White category.

Not only that, they won the Gate Fulford Cup for Best in Show!
