The original edition of 10 prints were made from an etched zinc plate that was pressed into handmade paper, and then pressed again into bright white watercolor paper.

I like the tones and soft sepia tones of this. the patterns of the background frame the image well. The etching is really nice with the divided shades of the face. Well done!! I am watching what you have in the pipes. Thanks for your finding the crosses to your liking. It is good to make a connection.

redqueenself: interesting observation, but those are simply random patterns created by the acid as it etched into the plate.

Not yet. I have the original on the wall, but I agree that a canvas print would be the best presentation… it would capture the texture of the original zinc plate. Thanks!
