Profile

Born in Muncie Indiana, but have never lived there. Most of my family is from the nearby small town of Elwood. My father is retired from the US Air Force. So, I spent most of my childhood traveling from place to place. Which was cool with me.

I then joined the US Air Force myself and retired after 22 year 8 months 10 days. Ask most retirees they can tell you to the day. I very much miss my military days.

I have been to a lot of places in the world but never below the equater. Countries include, USA of course, Korea, Germany, Spain, England, Guam, Japan, and Saudi Arabia. With in the US I have actually lived in IN, IL, NY, MT, FL, CA, OR, TX, I have never been to LA, ME, NH, VT HI. I’ve been to all of the others.

I currently live in Southern Oregon and will probably remain here the rest of my life.

Recently took the position of Education Chair for the Klamath Basin Audubon Society. Have not had a chance to do much with the position yet.

For the past 4 years I have acted as the mascot, Ralph the Eagle, for the local Winter Wings Festival. I dress up like a 6 ft Bald Eagle and go to elementary schools once a week and teach kids about Bald Eagles and birds in General.

Father of two wonderful children 1 boy and 1 girl, both married. I have two grandchildren and 2 more on the way.

Fanatic about my dogs. There are currently three in the house. 11 year old female Siberian Husky Nakita, 19 month old male Lab/spaniel mix Jester and a 2 year old male Toy Poodle Sam. We also have two cockateils Tilly and Sylvester.

I’ve been married to a very special lady for 24 years now. Without her I would be nothing.

I was recently voted into the Klamath County Search and Rescue K-9 Unit. Lots of training going on for me as a rescuer and dog handler/trainer. Definately worth the work and rewarding as well.

I shoot Canon cameras exclusively. I’m not biased at all, its just the system I chose. Once your money is into one system, its difficult to change.

Hope you enjoy my work, I have been heavily interested in photography since I was about 15. I have completed the New York Institute of Photography course and numerous clinics and an extensive self study program. If I can help you with anything please ask, I do my best when I can.
