avant garde life womans role
splendid piece, creative work
Thank you. An artist I’m not, but this piece needed the fourth dimension of translation, so I gave it my best shot. I’m glad you like it. :)
a pencil to paper is art…..an artist you are….there are no parameters……only unlimited space
I’ll remember that the next time I’m feeling insignificant in this area. ;) Thanks again.
IT is an exclusive creation of YOU..Jenifer…connecting so well the work..art..& the message…that virtually takes into..silence to ponder over..to explore self…deep…I’m still ther with me..but than to say You have done it Marvellous..meticulous..Sure :o))
This is a portrait of me at thirty-six. We’ll see what this next year holds. ;) I wrote one about me twenty years earlier… perhaps I’ll pull it out so you can see how much I’ve grown. It was my first attempt at this technique, so it’s not as fluid as this one is, but it’s still pretty accurate. Thank you for always lifting me up Sure. xx Jenifer
great post , really GREAT!another happy gal
=D Thank you, Vesna, on so many levels.
You know William Blake was as much, if not more, an artist than a poet. “Songs of Innocence and experience” is a collection of poems, drawing and engravings. Is art is small, book-sized :)). I think you would like his work. He wrote Tiger Tiger and much much more. I see his ribbons dancing in everything you do. Do not let the scope of others restrict you… Fly so beautiful and fly so precious xx
Yes, I have already fallen madly in love with William Blake’s many masterpieces. He’s one of the poets I plan on studying in depth this year in hopes of learning a thing or two about this combination of words and art. I think my insecurities stem back to the mangled roots that so many other artistic types share in common with me. I took an art class years ago and had one of those impossible professors that refused to teach those that weren’t already trained in the art. How easily we bury our desires, or dismiss our passions, because of these types of experiences. I plan on taking a couple of art classes as electives toward my BA, and I can’t wait to enjoy the experience with new, more confident eyes. And yes, I shall try and fly. xx
Thank you. This one took me out of my comfort zone, to say the least — but I suppose that’s what makes it sweetest. :)
I am in awe with this work … it brought tears to my eyes… its amazing how our own personal thoughts could affect someone … your words/thoughts done that today! :) Hugs hugs honey! xoxooxoxox Sending you lots of love xoxoxoxo
Thank you so much! This one is dear to my own heart, and it never fails to give me chills whenever I reread it. I am so encouraged that it has touched you in such a profound way. :)
Loads of love to you …Cheryl, Wigs, & Restlessd
