    this is beautiful :)

  • Thanks Anna… I was a bit worried it might have been a bit too dark! The middle distance seems darker in the upload than in PS…. hmmmm…. : ))

And so do I Jenny, great shot – fabulous composition, foreground and mood ….. very nicely captured!!

  • Hi John… thank you for your comment and fav! I was actually worried about the darkness in the middle ground as it didn’t look quite that dark before I uploaded. I was just considering taking it down and trying a fiddle in PS when I noticed your comment! Maybe I’ll leave it a while then….. : ))

I find images look darker once uploaded to RB Jenny! But imho the darkness works well and adds to the mood and ambience of the scene! I really do like it!!

  • Thanks John… I think I just noticed it this time because it’s just a very subtle difference and with it being such a dark image it just means you lose a little of the detail I can see here. I have an imac and have calibrated it using the apple program that comes with it… but I believe to do it properly I need to invest in some other gadgets… I’ll just add those to the list….lol!! But thank you for the feedback…. much appreciated…. : ))

WOW! that is just SOOOOOO gorgeous! You star you! and yes everything I upload comes up different in RB, despite a callibrated monitor LOL:) Kudos Jen – superb image! xoxox

  • O wow Marg…. I don’t know about being a star but thank you anyway…lol!! Yeah… I’ve calibrated too… but just with the software that comes with the computer… One day I’ll invest in the necessary gadgets to make it perfect…. but at the moment they’re on a list with a few other things ahead of them…haha! I don’t usually see a real lot of difference, but with this one being so dark in the first place it lost the bit of detail in the middle distance. It’s growing on me though… so I think I’ll just leave it for now…. : P Hey… thanks for the fav too! : )) xox
