I’ve been looking at some older work today… so it’s another scanned neg.
At the time I was into making statements and getting the viewer to make their own stories… so there are no titles for these. All I’ll say is that at the time there was a lot of sadness involving children in the media and this was part of a series in response to that.
I lived in an old farmhouse back then… it had an old disused cellar beneath it which provided an ideal backdrop… the kids were only too happy to come down and help out (read play)!!

Wow… Thanks Trace… we actually had a lot of fun that night! The kids were pretty used to being used as props…lol! And any excuse to be down in the cellar was good enough for them…. : ))

I could imagine the sadness in this pic was having to stop playing in a basement. I would have loved one of those as a kid.
