Wow! You reckon!! What a compliment… thank you! I can’t tell you the frustration in getting it on rb… I was beginning to think the universe was telling me it was not a goer… lol!!! This is one I was working on before I went away, so now it’s finished I’m eager to move on… : ))

Oh wow… thanks Harry! I used to spend a fair bit of time there years ago too! My parents love to go there for a break (even now) and we often spent time down there with them. I used to love to go to the Tilba Tilba Festival at Easter… but haven’t been for quite a long time now! Keep talking about it as we don’t live that far away… better get our act together me thinks!!! LOL! : )

Thanks Colin for your thoughtful comment and the tips! You also reminded me that I hadn’t put any details about the painting. It’s actually painted in oils and the size is 61cm x 91cm.

I use a Canon 350D at the moment and I experiment with white balance and try to pick the one that most closely looks like the original… but sometimes the colours still seem to not be quite right! With a bit of fiddling they are pretty close… but gee… I wish I didn’t have to fiddle…lol!!! Maybe I should try a Nikon?!?... All the best..: )
