Sunrise at Gilman’s Point (5,685M) just a few hundred metres before the arriving at the summit of Kilimanjaro – top of the Africa and the highest freestanding mountain in the world, sheer bliss!
It sure was – got back last Wednesday! 7 days hard slog – but well worth it – just wish my fingers hadn’t have been freezing quite so much so I could have snapped a few more dramatic scenes – me & -20 temperatures do not work!!!
