I don’t need it anyway
The one who gave it birth is gone
My second tautly stretched
straight and true
as line of ley.
So tight a hold it hurts.
Release is
not an option.
Three, the magic three, bleeds,
weak and sickly,
but not beyond repair.
It will heal through time.
They played a merry tune
for a while,
too short.
Four, five and six
Were never mine to keep.
I gave them back.
