Fairyland

I was just going to pluck this seed head for the birds when I noticed the little droplets of water, could even spot them without my glasses! I took loads of shots and they are just incredible if I must say so myself!

This is incredible Jen, just like your latest one. You should do a calender series with different background colours and different grasses. Bet you think I’m weird suggesting this, but I can picture the series now. Great capture….Do you need an Agent? Ha.

HOw do you get these shots with those amazing backgrounds. I am in awe. I got a macro lens for christmas but i can’t take shots like this and would love to.
    This is superb.

  • JennyDean replied

It’s a tricky business alright Marion and trust me I have 10000’s that don;t work out. This one I lay on my belly in the wet grass and clicked! Mostly I need to use a tripod cos I’m too wobbly! Some of those flowers i used a pastic storage container bout 12×8 inches, with a nice skirt chucked over the back for colour, tripod and played. Sometimes a syringe with a drop of water, looks like a junky lives at my place :))
