Meerkat Portrait by

A Meerkat portrait taken at the Adelaide Zoo in South Australia.

Meerkats fascinate me and this little chap seemed equally fascinated “by” me as he obligingly sat and stared straight at the camera whilst I took this photo.

Camera: Canon EOS 350D with Canon Zoom Lens EF 70-300mm

It sure knows how to pose for a pic. Nice shot. Good enough for national geographic.

  • Thanks for your comment laminarwind. (Wish National Geographic would buy it. lol) It was a very co-operative model but it was probably thinking I was something from outerspacer with my black camera-nose. :-))

Thanks again Lolabud. It would be nice if all my photographic subjects were as obliging as this little Meerkat. :-)
