I started taking photos too long ago to remember, when, as a child, I was given my Aunt’s old Box Brownie Camera, and I have been addicted to photography ever since.
Actually, I can remember – carefully taking eight exposures over several weeks, anxious not to waste a single photo, and then impatiently waiting another week or so for the film to be sent to the city for processing and returned to the local shop before I could actually see my black and white prints.
Such a contrast to now, when I can photograph unlimited images in a single day with my Canon DSLR; and see them all in glorious colour on my computer screen the same day. It is so easy these days, with modern technology, to indulge my passion for photographing anything and everything.
I am also passionate about all kinds of animals, birds and other creatures (I have lots of pets) and the natural world, and I enjoy lots of things including reading and writing, spending time with family and friends (as well as spending time on my own), travelling (rarely, when I can afford it :-) ) and the list goes on.
I am looking forward to being a ‘Red Bubbler’, interacting with others on the site and enjoying the pleasure of looking at many beautiful photos.
