I like the differences between the two, this one with much more contrast and darker colour. I’m not sure my personal favorite is the first as it has less of a graphic feel to it.
They really are exactly the same composition. This one is much more graphic and dramatic too. But it’s much less realistic. Oddly, the more impressionistic and/or graphic, the harder these are for me to paint. I like this one better, but maybe I’m blinded by the work I put in?
