Also am intrigued with how you created the ‘shine’ of the instrument down near the bottom; what Color did you use? Appears to be a very pale gray along with the darker colors….?
It’s been a while since I painted this but I don’t think I used anything other than my usual pigments: pthalo blue, cobalt blue, phthalo green, new gamgee, hansa yellow , dioxion purple, quinacridorone deep rose and burnt sienna. Basically just a warm and a cool version each of the primaries plus a couple extras. The greys are all mixes of those colors.
