I really like the darkness of the image, and the small amount of colour creeping through is enough to warm the soul and provide a great backdrop for the silhouetted bird.

It’s wonderful that we have a pass to explore a new artistic media… a castle with so many rooms. And it is even more wonderful that we can keep whatever treasures we find since we are the first ones to come there. And it is most wonderful to know that after us… after we’ve explored every one of the rooms… that everyone who comes after us will envy that we had the first entry and the best swag.

And here you have imagined exactly what I’m writing about. It is a wonderful time to have photographic skills. We live in a golden age. Just like your glow behind the bird of your dreams.
