Wow!! Strong image!! The child’s expression (beautiful eyes, so sad) says it all!!
Like how the hair is ‘pulled’ into a ? during the ‘tug-of-war’!!

Whoa! Very powerful (and accurate!) image! Congratulations – extremely well expressed (and I’ve worked as a social worker and seen some of these struggles form the inside..) They are NOT pleasant – and cause untold harm to the children!
    Congratulations on highlighting their situation!

Just one question though – where did you get the young girl/woman for the shoot, and how did she give consent for this? (please – hope you don’t mind me asking – but overall, I get rather upset if people use children in their work, who do not yet have the maturity to understand what they are ‘consenting’ to be photographed as – though this girl DOES most definitely seem to be ‘old enough and mature enough’….)

  • Hi thank you for the nice comment. I don’t mind you asking one bit. The girl is my daughter, I am not divorced, so she does not know the pain of the situation, however she played the part well. I can imagine this is how children feel, the struggle, the feeling of being split into two. I appreciate the concern, and thank you again for the nice comment. Have a good day.
