Amsterdam is known for its tulips, and of course, Dutch tulips can be bought in the Flower Markets of Amsterdam. But, amongst the shops filled with tulip bulbs, this arrangement of vivid blue hydrangea and black-eyed susans caught my eye. I couldn’t stop thinking about this combination of color, texture, and form until I could paint it.
