It’s the people
who try
to disappear
like shadows
fading away
with the sunlight
those always looking
for clouds
and storms
appearing only
when bathed
in a cloak
of moonlight
to dance in
your dreams
and soften your screams
as they speak
to your soul
late at night…

I’m not sure how you are applying this to the people you’ve linked to, but, I know I am disappearing, too, into myself…not into a cocoon hoping to come out as some sort of new butterfly…disappearing from society, from view and circumstance…
—the end reminds me of a line from a song “you got to watch the ones who always keep their hands clean”
this poem just flows like flecks of gold from a miner’s pan

yeah, when people are making a noise… there’s not as much to be concerned about… you know when you go to the scene of an accident, in order to assess the severity of the situation, the potentially, most seriously hurt person, you always look for the quietest one first, the one who isn’t making a single, solitary sound… chances are they’re not breathing at all ya see?
mmm… I’ve been there and had to do just that on a number of occasions…

This was really beautiful. And that makes so much sense…because those who are trying to disappear are the ones that need to be found the most. They are the ones that are sometimes so easily forgotten, but who may be the most precious. I didn’t see this poem. I loved it though.
