Australia is being wracked by bushfires, Victoria has had the worst fires in recorded history with (at time of writing) 128 confirmed dead and over 500 homes lost. the projected death toll is 230 at this stage. whole towns are gone. families are devastated, homeless, grieving.

New Group Plans
I’ve been thinking about a new group lately and I want to sound people out and see if anyone is interested. as most of you know, I have a disability. I’ve run across a lot of artists on RB who also have disabilities or chronic illness that can sometimes affect their art and their careers. often this can lead to a feeling of aloneness and despair.

Well my Solo Exhibition Purity opens this Sunday, I am very nervous! but excited as well and ready for it to happen. I’d love to see some RedBubblers at the opening! it would be great to meet some of you finally in person :). I will be showing my white nudes and watercolor nudes.

Solo Show! Purity
I am booked in for my first Solo Show! It’s a short term engagement at a really fantastic location in Box Hill. The gallery has wonderful natural light and a really interesting layout that I think will be perfect for my white Impasto works. The opening will be a bit different, to show off the Gallery at it’s best- a Sunday afternoon tea opening.

WTF? Stolen Art
I was recently emailled and informed that my art had been seen floating around online under someone else’s name. the images have been taken from here, with their titles intact and stamped with the name “Michelle Stark” and “are”
the quality is terrible, which means they probably wont get too far, but I hate the idea that someone else is claiming credit for my work- what can I do to stop this…

Sorry I’ve been a bit out of touch recently. with the end of the year and a few shows winding up my injury went a bit haywire, and I’ve had to rest. it’s settled back down now and so have I, back into a routine. so you should be seeing new works, and responses to your emails soon! thanks for being so patient.
