Nice shot. I’m just growing into my macro (or micro as Nikon refers to it) lens myself. You got some great shadows on this picture and to me it seems to add depth to a picture with a very shallow DOF. Welcome to Macro/Micro! Excellent start.
I just got it and I’m not used to the focus – I can’t use the auto focus at all but I never did on my other lens when I was taking close-ups. I think I my need to turn off the VR too.
