I have always been amazed at how much a painting or picture to one person way seem serene and calming, whereas to another it may appear disturbing. It’s the same piece of art, but just as there are millions on millions of people inhabiting this Earth, there are just as many different opinions about that very same object. With this thought in mind, is how I create my artwork. A response from a viewer is the very reason why I paint or why I photograph. For this site, I have chosen pieces of my work that evoke something in the viewer. Whether it be soothing or disturbing is totally up to you. I hope you enjoy.

I live in Suffolk, Virginia. Though in the past, I have worked in commercial stock photograpy and contract freelancing, my strengths are in my artwork. I have displayed my work in the Hampton Roads area as well as Baltimore, Md., and D.C. In 2005, I recieved the Director’s Award at the Visual Arts Center in Portsmouth, VA. My work has also been published in Black & White Magazine’s 2005 international single image contest, winning gold in fashion/advertising. Other notable literature arts published in the Channel Marker (Portsmouth, VA), and The Layers of Our Lives international poetry contest.
