Wood Stork looks as if conversation is in order. Notice the beak length and width! With very long broad wings, wood storks can catch the slightest breeze and soar when other birds are grounded. Their wings also enable them to withstand high winds and stormy conditions. As a result, they can migrate weeks before birds with smaller wings such as hawks. I treasure connections with those who are touched in some way by nature’s beauty. During those magic moments, we share a special awe in nature’s presence. We are compelled to see and share. Connections make us who we are and relationships within nature give our lives meaning.
