I treasure connections with those who are touched in some way by nature’s beauty. During those magic moments, we share a special awe in nature’s presence. We are compelled to see and share. Connections make us who we are and relationships within nature give our lives meaning.

I just entered the “OMG” group! lol what a fantastic shot! hollywood can use it for a scary movie. lol. the contrasts, position, composition, light, sharpness and effect are simply perfect. another piece of art sweet man!

  • You are too nice Manon! Thanks for the thorough and most welcome critique. This was a big alligator, the “boss” of the pond. He came very close to where I was standing and rested half on the embankment and half in the water under some bushes. I was astonished at his “claw” and body armor

You are much braver than I! I think I lean more toward the gentler species! Great shot and indeed a great cover image for a Scare Movie!

  • Hi Pamela, the gentler species are more forgiving. Thank you for your support. This was a bit scary when I saw the beast so close, but all was well. He was in shadows, so that helped with the dark side theme. Have a great day!

What a beautiful angle to this and to see all the scales. It would look good as a movie poster.

  • Thank you 66, I was happy with the image and a bit nervous during the capturing process. I really like the moodiness, a bit scary actually.
