Nightfall on a Mountain Lake by J Jennelle
Long after sunset, light lingers on this Vermont lake at beautiful Sayon Lodge State Park in Central Vermont US
As I prepare equipment at 4:30 am in the lodge to take a row boat onto this pre-dawn lake, white throated sparrows just awakened with their beautiful calls in the forest. With much luck, I will see early morning loons and moose meandering on the other side of the lake.
