Artist's Description

Fractal created in Sterling with postwork in Corel Paintshop Pro.

As usually happens when I work in fractal environments, I struggle to create something based on an image already envisioned in my mind. And it never works! I have learned to approach creating art with fractals in a totally different mindset than I do when I paint , draw, photograph, or digitally produce something. Fractals are an exploration, a foray into the unknown, a discovery. And so it goes with this one. I came across it a few weeks ago and have been tweaking it ever since, following where it led me.

I completed the image several days ago but didn’t really know what it meant, what it should be titled, how I felt about it. As often happens, the synchronicity of life began unfolding late last night and early this morning and it’s clear to me now.

It is an Obelisk with sacred inscriptions that eulogize all the visionaries who have come to us on our beautiful, little blue rock in the Universe. It reminds us to take heart because there is infinite wisdom and love here for us all. Gaia will bring herself to balance, and those of us willing to support her in that process will find our civilizations, our economies, our communities will also right themselves. I believe it; I feel it in my heart. The Universal resonance is growing, the Obelisk is focusing it and amplifying it. We will see the answer is not so much to fight against something but fight for and with love, peace, compassion ………………………….We are in very scarey times but, everything is always seeking balance and the power of this evolving, intelligent universal love is growing.

The following works of art (and heart!) helped complete the inspiration needed for this post

My friend, who I call a Warrior in the best sense of the word, Helen Bascom, who NEVER wavers in her passion for justice posted this today showing me that there is much work to do to overcome the cancer of greed in our world. Your heart, Helen, is as big as the Universe and your passion fires my soul.

Scott Bricker’s Creating the Perfect Offering is another fine example of his beautiful, spirit-filled art that inspires every time.

Clare Collins’ Message in a Bottle speaks the one truth that we all need to know.

Owlspook’s Upon Hearing the Outcome in Massachusetts calls on us to be ever vigilant.

Lawrence Alfred Powell’s Vision Imprisoned by Narrow Belief reminded me that expansiveness, open-ness will serve us.

And of course the one of a kind Linaji and her Mentor Mind – the Golden Rule Linaji always brings me back to the lessons of the Art of Allowing.

Peace, love and happiness my friends.

Watch and listen to Steve Earle for further inspiration…………………..
