Sun Mandala
On a gray spring day in the Rockies, temperatures are warm, snow quality is not fantastic for skiing….......... my mind turns to thoughts of sand, water and sun! For all of us who are feeling the length of our winters…...... :o)

After a surprise snowstorm here, and very cold, a sun mandala hits the spot like hot cocoa! I’m staring at this, for a while, and I see you’ve learned the rule of sixes with your compass, it’s a good trick, I first used for making a clock face of 12. I’m preparing some clock tutorial material, with illustrations, and have found about 6 images of my own clock artworks, will be posting this as soon as I get it all organized. And Sheryl Crow, that’s a perfect match for this, which came first?!
JenLand replied
Well, I created this mandala probably about 7 or 8 years ago….........her album (dating myself there!) with this song came out….......mmmmmmmm I wanna say about 7 years ago…......they came together in my mind today. :o) Yeah, my compass, protractor, ruler, eyeballs …... OH! and my spirograph created this one!!! heh heh Thanks Syd!

The colours should warm you up. I’ve no idea what real ‘cold’ is like. The lowest temperature I’ve felt in the last 35+ years would be 4 or 5 degrees C and then only for the very shortest time.
JenLand replied
Heh heh, it’s supposed to be a rain/snow mixture tonight! Winter sometimes has to be dragged kicking and screaming away from here. :o) And I rarely experience temps more than 90F in the past 30 years. I wonder if we were to drill directly down into the earth, until we broke through the others side, would we end up in each other’s back yard?!! Seems we’re nearly perfectly opposite…..... :o)
