I have nothing to say about my love.
Though not from lack of feeling, ache, or lust,
but the bounds of words I am unable to walk out of;
I own no words of love that I could trust.
For no scene or affair could close compare
to this simple love I have learnt and known.
Not a summer’s day could trap what we share,
no setting enough to capture this love we own.
I’ve found a love that renders words useless;
a love that leaves words only spent and worn-
leaves my sentences to stray and digress.
No stanzas could fit this love that’s been born.
I’ve found love that won’t settle on a page,
but fight against all love’s wars we’ve to wage.
