Oil painting on canvas.
Looking north along the ridge of Piedra Ventana, to the East of the village of Trevelez.
In 1994 Jeni Rabjohns left her career as an art tutor and settled in the Alpujarra, in the province of Granada, Spain. Now a full-time resident of Trevélez, high in the Sierra Nevada, Jeni divides her time between painting and printmaking. Rambling through the beautiful countryside of the Alpujarra and Sierra Nevada with water media and pastels she attempts to capture the essence of her adopted home. Back in her workshop in Trevélez she produces large oil paintings on canvas.

Yep,
Looks the part I went up there once trying to get over to Granada by motorbike .We never made it cos the snow blocked our way .It was June!!
Hi Wilt, That sounds about right. But you were unlucky in June but at a height of over 3,000 m anything can happen. The wind is howling at my door tonight and snow forecast tomorrow! Nice to have contact with the UK.

Incidently,
Have you read “Driving over lemons” and “A parrot in a pepper tree” all about someone buying a small farm in your neck of the woods?Yes, Chris Stewart is a local celebrity. He lives way down the valley, near the town of Órgiva.
