An Update
So, I just wanted to update everyone on my camera crisis.
I have no idea WHAT happened, but the next day, after we called around the the insurance, etc and kept finding out it wasn’t covered, etc….I went to check out the camera again and BAM, it turned on! And I did a few test shots….it was fine! We had it checked out, and it’s okay! So that was great! My 70-300mm isn’t working though, ...
May have killed my camera.... =(

We just got home and my bag has had a slight tear in it…well it got caught on a snag on the beam in the middle of the porch, right as I swung around because there was a mouse running across my foot (have no idea why it was on the porch on the second story!) but when I did, my bag ripped, and my camera, complete with my 70-300mm lens, flew out and bounced on the p…

I'm Still Alive!
Just wanted to update the few (very few…lol) that follow or know me here on RB.

Got my 40D in the mail today!!! Oooooh la la!!! I’m soooo excited!!!! Beyooooond excited!! I want to go take pictures….lol, but it’s rainy/snowy. =P And I don’t want to get my new love wet…lol.

Yeah, I won’t go into details but things might be looking up a bit! We’re going to have some extra money and see about moving into a better place to rent…with some more room….Oh yeah and I finally was able to get myself my camera upgrade! It was a blessing from someone and I’m so happy! In two weeks I should have a Canon 40D arriving in the mail! So awesome…I’m very excited and anxious! B…

....That I might be improving a bit at this photography stuff?!! ;) I feel like some of my latest shots are a bit better than some of my others. I surely do hope I’m improving and growing!! I certainly am trying! I would truly like to develop a “style” for some shots I take that makes people go “Oh, that’s Jen!!” because it’s the way I do it. It’s ME. Ya know?

Ugh. For the fourth time, Hubby and I have had the money to get my camera and it’s not going to work out. It was supposed to be my Valentines Day present (and Birthday/Christmas/Anniversary since we didn’t have money for anything on those days) and as usual, something comes up and it’s gone again. sigh
I feel like I’ve been rolling with the punches pretty good with all of this but now…ugh…
