Wow … great shot Jen. Colors are excellent … and soft, not harsh. Not that I’m any kind of expert (far from it), but looks like you must have read all the good books on composition … LOL :)

Seriously though, I noticed … horizon low capitalizing on more space dedicated to that beautiful sky, subject off center and scaled in the frame to bring good perspective, and the angle the shot was taken from not only made good use of the puffy clouds to draw eye to the subject as well as to the focal point of the sunrise. At least that’s the way I see it for whatever that’s worth.

Never been much of a reader myself. At least not until I got this photography bug about 5 years ago. Now I read just about any book or magazine related to photography I can get my hands on. In any event then, keep snappin what looks good to ya. I quickly perused some of the rest of your portfolio and saw more evidence you’ve got a good eye for the shot. Liked your “Flutter By” title (and shot) too … nice play on words.
