Hi Hilary. They have grown so fast since that photo. You can see the difference between these two and the last one that was born last night which was two days later. Will put photo on soon.

Please don’t take this the wrong way, but because I’ve never seen one before, I would almost mistake him/her for a piece of lint! This is so incredible. Can’t wait to see more.

Hi Nancy. They are little fluff balls aren’t they? They will lose this fluff in a couple of days and be completely bald until their pin feathers come through. Will keep updating photos.

Thanks Sally. That was the first lot. Unfortunately they all ended up dying. Something was wrong with the one I gave mum like it got sick or something. The one I gave my sister died because we had a cold snap. I have got an eight week old one at the moment out of the next batch.

I find that cockatiels are the most delicate of all my birds…I’ve had different problems with them
and they are my very favorite birds…although I adore all my others…they are just very special to
me….

And I thought my baby Button Quail were little at hatching compared to the baby doves, but those little guts are tiny.

Hi Sheri. Yeah, they are tiny but it is amazing how quick they grow. Even the day after they hatch it is hard to see how they fit into the egg.

Yeah, they grow really quickly though. In a matter of days they were 3 times the size.
