Soliloquy

The audience is stilled to a hushed silence and even the air holds its breath. Then slowly, gently but surely, the metaphor of suspended animation melts into action, into voice.

One voice.

One utterance.

One sole voice singing, sighing and soliloquising. In the still silence her voice rings true and strikes deep in the hearts of the listeners, the spellbound audience whom she holds, cups gently in the palm of her hand.

And so her words slip like quicksilver over her lips and from the light to the waiting ears in the darkness, dopping gently soothingly, comforting the soul.

A collective sigh echoes. Her song continues and peace reigns in this space. In this time. In this season of refine.

Bravo!! You held me spell bound and I could almost hear the performance – beautiful work.

Hi Bev! Thank you so very much…somewhat different writing for me, I know, but once again it just flowed, inspired by the shot itself. Somehow I imagined it as a Lilliputian scene or the curtains on a stage having just been drawn to reveal a secret performer. And the rest is laid out before you.

But I am simply stunned and blown away by your response…what a lovely thing to say. Thank you so very much my friend for yet more of your continued support..xxxxOo
