what can I say?

Jan Stead JEMproductions

what can I say?

There are times I am called upon and often write.
This was one of those times and these were the words which began.

What can I say?
What can I do?
There’s nothing that I can
Nothing
No how
Nowhere
No way….

The rest, the answer, followed.
…pray….

what can I say? belongs to the following groups:

What can I say?
What can I do?
There’s nothing that I can
Nothing
No how
Nowhere
No way….
…but pray….

~~~~~~~~~~
I know not what for
but I sure know who
And I’ll place you in God’s hands
For that is all that I can do
This one’s too big for me
I know, though I wish it weren’t
I want to pray with a magic wand
And make it go away, to stop the hurt
But God is no magician
Though he heals and miracles abound
And one day when I get to meet him
The questions will come tumbling out
I guess I won’t need the answers then
Its now we want to know
But I promise you I’ll ask them
When its my turn to go
But one thing that I am sure of
Beyond any doubt is the day
God brought you to me
Love bloomed in a different way
So now, through these dark times
I pray that you will find
Glimmers of hope,
Slivers of joy
And a peace beyond human minds
    Beautifully written my friend! ;-)
    Thank you Julie.., this was written for a friend at a difficult time for her, and I am almost positive was yet again written for me, though my hand moved across the keys to type the letters.
    I just hope it helped her.
    Oh Hilary thank you for your words. I will treasure them, as always. Sometimes the words come and I write, though the thoughts often are but the impetus, the starting point.
    The truth comes from the one who knows.
    Beautiful Jan and to know the story behind it makes it all the more special – wonderfully written!
    Thank you so much Bev…you are very kind in your comments, for I don’t think I deserve the credit, although to actually sit down and write may have been just a little bit important. I guess it may not have been written otherwise.
    And I knew you’d know….
    Wow Jan, great writing.
    Hi Sharon. It’s funny, but I’d completely forgotten I’d written it until I was looking for another piece of writing which I do remember writing.
    So, seeing this was only written at the end of last year, I was surprised I had forgotten it; except as I read it I recognised another’s hand.
    If I consciously sit down and want to write, it usually doesn’t happen. It has to be for the right reason, person and time.
