Be at Peace

Be at Peace

I never cease to marvel at the amazing talent of Red Bubble members and the inspiration and wonder I see in so very many images posted.
This time the artist is Tessa Bishop and her wonderful work, Early Morning Peace the source of this work.

Be at Peace belongs to the following groups:

All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical, Living Christianity, Shots in the Fog, UK to Australia and Back and WMG

still
misty air
steals across the glass shone water
where boats sit anchored
solitary and silent

grey morning moist
breathe in the sweet air
relax
be still
be at peace

can you hear it?
the whisper of peace
the hush of silence

be at peace.

Your poem fits beautifully with Tessa’s Early Morning Peace Jan. Makes me feel all at peace just reading it :)

I’m so pleased you feel that way, as that was how I felt when I looked upon ‘Early Morning Peace’.
Thank you for your lovely comments…very humbling.

Wonderful poem and complements Tessa’s Early Morning Peace shot perfectly – you’ve done it again girl!

  • Jan Stead JEMp... replied

Bev I am constantly humbled and repeatedly amazed/stunned by your generous comments and praise.
But I am so pleased that my words fit so well with Tessa’s amazing image. Without her shot there would be no poem.

    Thank you.

Navybrat, thank you for your lovely comments.
I can’t tell you how your response makes me feel, for it leaves me virtually speechless.
But suffice it to say I can’t believe you can hear and feel what I did when I looked into the shot Tessa had captured so perfectl; and that I have translated and communicated those feelings is truly beyond my capability.
Another’s hands and mind must surely have been at work on this one.
