As night steals away
It never ceases to amaze me, the incredible and inspiring works from some amazing photographers that I trip over, discover and delight in on Red Bubble.
And I’ve just found another by Andy Smylie, which has brought forth a short piece of writing.
Again it tumbled out in comment form, but is now slightly re-worked.
Short.
But often shorter is better.
As night steals away belongs to the following groups:
All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical, Skyscapes and Sunrise, SunsetAs night steals away
and dawn slowly creeps
to take its place
the world is still, silent,
breath-holding and waiting
for the sun to show its face.

Oh thank you so much Bev.
It’s so short I almost didn’t post it….if it was a song I’d call it a ditty!

What a lovely little stanza Jan…tells a story in minimal words. Very good :)

Wonderful sentiments. Glad my image inspired you so.
Your words are wonderful. They put very simply into a few words that wonderful feeling of being alive and witnessing that special time of the morning.
