“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you” Luke 2:11
This stained glass window is to be found in St George’s, the Anglican church in Parkes, NSW, Australia. It was given in memory of a baby who died when he was only seven months old. So it seems an entirely appropriate choice. It is the only stained glass window I have seen with the nativity as the theme.

An avid photographer, both still and moving, since I was 10 years old, I later discovered and developed a particular love of macro, which is now one of my main genres. More recently, however, my repertoire has broadened to include stained glass windows and rural & outback New South Wales, Australia, among other subjects.
I hope you enjoy the the beauty of creation, captured and presented here for you.

Hi, its Simone here. I was talking to you at Caragabal church today. I thought i’d check out this website, its really good. Thanks for letting me know about it. Great photo by the way :)
Hi Simone,
I’m so glad you checked out redbubble and have joined. I’m sure you won’t regret it.
There are also some great groups you can ‘join’ so when you upload or post a photo you can post it in groups…and you get to meet some people who think like you too….
Oh and thanks for you kind words about the nativity window…cos I really think it’s the window, not the photo. It’s from St George’s, Parkes. I’ll put the photo I took of the nativity window at Caragabal on here soon….also I’m going to add you to my watchlist…(sort of like a friend on facebook)…so I’ll be notified when you’ve put up photos…then I can check yours out too.
OK. It was great meeting you. Have fun with your photography and enjoy the redbubble community. I’ve learnt heaps from other members who know much more than I do.
