behold the
early autumn beauty
sits on the water
heralding
the change of season
the coming
cooling

sweet fresh
relief
tranquility
peace
new life

and here I stop
breathe
and still myself
for
but a
moment
yet an
eternity

An avid photographer, both still and moving, since I was 10 years old, I later discovered and developed a particular love of macro, which is one of my main genres. More recently, however, my repertoire has broadened to include stained glass windows and particularly the stunning beauty of outback New South Wales and South Australia.
I hope you enjoy the beauty of the Creation, captured and presented here for you.

    Excellent!!! :D

  • Thank you so much Cee…I wouldn’t have known about your group if it were not for a comment from robyncox. I have quite a few shots I took on this one afternoon, when the late afternoon sun bathed the brand new water lily blooms and those just peeping through. It was a photographer’s oasis!!
So, you have been warned. There will be more to come!

    how about that reflection!! gorgeous!

  • I’m so glad you like it Marion. I feel as if I’m sort of beginning to stumble over some degree of getting it right with my new camera now…my husband finally persuaded me to put down my trusty ‘old’ camera and take my new one, along with some courage, in my hands.

So, thank you for your affirmation my friend!!..xxxxOooXx

Oh, Jan!!!! this is absolutely stunning!!! Glorious contrast of light and dark … and ooooo … what fantastic exposure and detail!!!!! Beautifully done!!!!!

  • oh wow!!! Coming from you this is massively high praise indeed!!! Thank you so much. Funny, last night after being outside taking some shots, it went through my mind I’d like to grow up to be a photographer like you! lol! When I got my new camera at Christmas everyone in the family was stunned when I said I wouldn’t ‘get ird of’ my old one.
I guess all I can do is keep working on getting better and stretching myself…so any advice you can give me will be more than appreciated!..xxxx
