An avid photographer, both still and moving, since I was 10 years old, I later discovered and developed a particular love of macro, which is one of my main genres. More recently, however, my repertoire has broadened to include stained glass windows and particularly the stunning beauty of outback New South Wales and South Australia.
I hope you enjoy the beauty of the Creation, captured and presented here for you.

love this! they are like a city of glass buildings with such wonderful shapes.

  • HI Marion…so glad you like them. Interesting that you think they’re like a city of glass buildings. My thoughts almost eaxactly. In fact I nearly submitted this to some such groups, like Skyscapes, but thought it’d be rejected.
I’ve always been gripped by a fascination for reflections in glass, so this certainly caught my eye. It was about 15 metres or 20 feet long and about 1 and a half feet wide.
    IN a museum too….in Singapore

This is great Jan and I really like the clever title for it too. They are amazing bottles!

  • Hi Elaine, THank you very much. I’m glad you like these. I thought they were pretty amazing too…oh and I’m very humbled and flattered that you approve of the title….I was thinking about throwing stones in glass houses…hmmm. Not quite!..xxxx

Nothing worse than keeping it bottled up, although this shot kills that idea :D

  • haha! I always love your take on things and your wry sense of humour. Keeps me smiling, and post move and semi unpacked with all sorts of things like Drs, dentists etc to ‘get’, smiles are much needed and greatly appreciated when given/received. So RB is yet again proving great therapy!..xxxx

Jan lovey this is gorgeous love it. vic

  • hello my FWWLG! (HINT:see yr comment on cloisters) Took this in the Singapore National Museum, believe it or not. I thought it was simply fascinating…an entire ‘wall’ of glass containers, bowls, vases, bottles etc stacked and layered…about the length of the PMR and as wide/deep as the floor space in your office…lengthways. If that makes sense…ok…nite!.. ;)

  • WOW!! *That’s awesome!! Thank you so very much. When I saw these I thought immediatley of your group. In fact, it was the shapes and patterns RB group which inspired me and almost opened my eyes to the very shapes and patterns contained within this incredible arrangement of the common and everyday glass items..xxxx

Jan that’s made my day! Maria and I are so proud of the work that comes into the group, but to hear that it has actually inspired is a whole new level of pride!! Congratulations and I’m so glad you see the world in this light now :)

  • Oh I’m so pleased my reply has given you such encouragement and positive feedback. I am so impressed by anyone who comes up with the idea for a group, let alone hosts it….what an awesome job you do and so often with little thanks. Well its about time you got some. Please pass this onto Maria as well. Oh, and the work which comes into the group is but a reflection of your inspiration and dedication..xxxx
