Originally, through a computer glitch, this was loaded without a title, description or for sale option. A couple of wonderful photographers/writers, Enivea and GailD, commented and I could tell they’d jumped to the wrong conclusions. After reading their comments I reflected upon them and was inspired to pen some words, by way of explanation but also as an observation. _It was through other bubbler’s comments that this inspiration came… At least I think that’s what happened!
Thank you so much…I wasn’t really too sure about it and have had it sitting, waiting silently, for ages now.
I’m not really sure why I decided to upload it. Maybe I felt I was in a floral macro rut! I just get a bit bored with doing too much of the same stuff and need a challenge and to stretch myself… so thank you heaps!!
this is really gorgeous .. so vibrant and full of texture ..
great words beside it too ..
THank you PJ…particularly your praise for the words. Coming from such a superb writer (whose work is featured on the home page!!!) I take such comments seriously and appreciate them. So glad you like this different work (for me). I am now beginning to gather the courage to continue experimenting and get out of my comfort zone.
just breathtaking! thought at first it was a macro of something in nature – so interesting to think that it is man made. just a stunning image.
Oh, your first word says it all Marion! In fact, that very word takes my breath away!! But oh, I had to laugh when I realised I’d lulled you into a totally understandable case of mistaken identity I guess that’s cos I usually do nature stuff ~ so a very understandable assumption to fall into. I guess it delights me that I can be a little less predictable if I try…and this is just part of trying to think outside the square and stretch myself and my photography (as well as the capabilties of my current camera…yes I have aspirations and my eye on a few mouth watering beauties…saving madly! lol!
good for you .. it’s nice to change gears now and then :)
PJ. I think I missed you…I mean, I think I missed replying to your lovely comment. But yes, it is certainly nice, indeed good to change gears, step out and try something new. Relieves the sameness of the rut which lies before me.
I think I’m seeing green spots before my eyes lol ☼^☼ [I need my sparkly glasses ☺] wonderfully created Treatise! ☼ BRAVO!!! ☼
WOW! a treatise!! Me?? Probably a spotty one! lol! but I’m rapt by your comment….you seem to constantly spur me on to more writing and open my eyes to possibilities I might otherwise miss…. Oh, and I just noticed who’s commenting! :O ?
It’s great Jan, love your writing and thanks for clearing up the mystery of the item.
Wow! So glad you like my writing Enivea…that’s very humbling and such a lovely thing to say. I take great strength and encouragement from such words as warm my heart.
So glad I could solve the mystery for you! I didn’t feel it was fair to leave you in the dark!!!
