When I first saw this, the song, Tina Arena’s “I’m in Chains” began playing in my head…and I can’t get it out!
Your arms are warm but they make me feel
As if they’re made of cold, cold steel
A simple kiss like a turnin’ key
A little click and the lock’s on me
Can’t move my arms, can’t lift my hands
I won’t admit to where I am
But I know baby, I’m in chains
I’m in chains
I pretend I can always leave
Free to go whenever I please
But then the sound of my desperate calls
Echo off these dungeon walls
I’ve crossed the line from mad to sane
A thousand times and back again
I love you baby, I’m in chains
I’m in chains
I’m in chains
I’m in chains
Should have known passing through the gate
That once inside I could not escape
I never thought this could happen to me
Never thought this is where I’d be
But baby, baby, baby, look at me
Baby, baby, look at me, I’m in chains
I’m in chains
I never thought this is where I’d be
Never thought this could happen to me

An avid photographer, both still and moving, since I was 10 years old, I later discovered and developed a particular love of macro, which is now one of my main genres. More recently, however, my repertoire has broadened to include stained glass windows and rural & outback New South Wales, Australia, among other subjects.
I hope you enjoy the the beauty of creation, captured and presented here for you.

great colours – the rust against the blue. great macro.
OH thank you Marion, I hadn’t thought of the blue at all really. In fact I’d sort of wished it wasn’t there lol!
So I’m pleased it works. There’s something rather special about rust, though, isn’t there?

Or “working on the chain gang” … well captured
oh yes!! I like it : ))))) Would you mind if I used that for one of my other chains shots?
It’s funny, but when I get a song stuck in my head, no other ones seem to get a look in.
Thank you for your lovely comment, as always.

Very good ‘strong’ image. Your macto work is coming along well – sharp image.
oh thank you Elaine. That means a lot to me, as this is a rather different macro for me. Some of my attempts at different haven’t really flown. And ‘strong’ was what I was aiming for with this one.
So, yes, thanks heaps!
I’m really trying to work on amping up and improving my macro shots, so your comments are greatly appreciated.

Wow! I am truly humbled Deanna….that you read all the comments as well as looking at the pic; and on top of that, agreed with them.
That’s so lovely and incredibly encouraging. So much said in so few words…(which is a gift in itself ~ one I don’t have!! lol!)

many thanks again…you flatter me overly I fear. Much you like in my work is due to having an excellent lens and great little camera.
I simply go out to have fun and find the obvious, passed by things others miss.
