About Jan Stead JEMproductions

An avid photographer, both still and moving, since I was 10 years old, I later discovered and developed a particular love of macro, which is now one of my main genres. More recently, however, my repertoire has broadened to include stained glass windows and rural & outback New South Wales, Australia, among other subjects.
I hope you enjoy the the beauty of creation, captured and presented here for you.

Norway was just awesome and breathtaking at every turn!! IF you ever get a chance to go there I would heartily recommend it.
    A photographer’s paradise!
The air and waters are clear and pristine, as is the entire country!!!

Wonderful shot…love the reflection on the water.

  • Hi CJ!
Sorry for not replying before…I hadn’t noticed your lovely comment about this photo.
I’m so glad you ‘love’ it. I must confess that when I saw this image staring back at me from the computer, I was amazed!

That’s ok Jan. I just noticed a comment on one of mine from 29 days ago!!!
This photo is really lovely…so very clear and almost like looking at a mirror image moreso than a reflection in the water…very good :)

  • lol!!
Thank you for your reply to my reply….but the credit for this shot, particularly the reflection in the water, must go to the country itself ~ Norway. For the quality of both water and air, and hence the perfect crystalline reflections of the countryside in water, simply blew me away. Everywhere I turned were such images!!! I have so many more, and may post some one day; I’m dleaying as I know they will take ages to do and load my poor graoning computer even more.

    Thanx again!!!

The symmetry and delicate hues make this image ,outstanding !!

  • Thank you. It was really the setting and scene that did all the work here, not down to me much at all. But the shot did blow me away when I saw how well it turned out!

    Lovely shot, nice reflections!

  • Thank you Robert…the reflections in Norway are everywhere and totally distracting in their brilliant beauty. Impossible to pass without capturing, or at least trying. For nothing compares to the real thing, although I was rather pleased with the job that this one did.

So beautiful with the reflections and yellow leaves in the right corner.

  • Hello Poupoune! thank you so much for your lovely comment…I loved the refelctions which were everywhere I looked when we were in Norway…European light is simply awesome!! I think it has something to do with a lower colour temperature or something…colours are more dense and hence reflections more crystal than here…Whatever the reason, I adored trying to capture the beauty, so I’m thrilled you like this shot and can see beauty in the image…xxxxOo

  • Actually, I think your words are wonderful, even wonderfully wonderful! lol! I’m so glad you like this shot of a truly beautiful spot. I have to confess to being rather blown away when I watched the image initially appear on the computer screen after downloading from my (first ever & still new) digital camera…
Autumn is a wonderful time of year and the colours of the forests were amazing…it truly was a photographer’s dream location..xxxx
