Hi Judy. Thank you very much for your comment and generous praise. Believe it or not, I really didn’t have compliments in mind when I put this journal entry up; it was more a way of thanking Vicki who bought it.

Hello there my friend. Lovely to hear from you. Yes, life is busy right now, but that’s largely cos we are still in the leadup to moving. WE MOVE 2 WEEKS FROM MONDAY! on the 17th August. Pre-pack exactly 2 weeeks from now. Yikes!!! We had a 4 ton skip delivered today for dumping all our rubbish in and have already filled our recycling bin. Having been back in the country 6 days, the clean up is still in its early days, so there’s heaps more recycling to come yet. Think we’ll have to ‘borrow’ or pinch other people’s recycling containers…
So, with farewells behind and before us this sale has come at a wonderful time from a very special lady who I am going to miss when we move. She is a good friend so we will keep in touch. Vicki is the reason I posted this journal entry, by way of saying thank you.
But thank you for the congrats Julie…xxxx

lol! yes it was an awesome present to wake up to…possibly the best vicki could have given me. I hope by putting up this journal announcement she now knows how special it was and how much it meant to me. So it is more a credit to her and her friendship than it is to me…but thank you for the congrats. It’s fun to sell a piece of your work isn’t it?..xxxx

Hi Enivea. Thank you for the congratulations, but I only shared the news by way of thanking Vicki who bought it. She’s a good friend and I’ll miss her when we move in a couple of weeks time, so it was a lovely gift from her.
I’ve sold numerous cards (though I don’t like to brag so don’t tend to share that) but never anything larger ~ apart from calendars ~ till now…xxxx

Oh, you say the sweetest nicest things. As I’ve said to all the others who have commented so far, I only ‘announced’ this so I could thank you. I was totally stunned and blown away ~ I don’t think you could have given me anything better. So it seems like its a bit of a win win…the gift that keeps on giving, if you know what I mean.
Thank you also for your amazing words…but I hate to tell you, flattery will only get you so far! lol!
Knowing you’ll have it pinned up next to your desk tho’ I’ll be able to visualise you working sort of next to me, and that will be really special, as are you.
And of course I’ll keep posting stuff after we move. One of the best things I have found about RB since I’ve been on it, is the friendships I’ve made, encouragement and support received. And that’s from people I didn’t know before. So, with someone I do know, it will be even more so.
YAY!

Hi Bev. Thank you for the welcome home. We had an amazing yet busy few weeks in the UK, Norway and Singapore, but it’s always nice to get home after a trip, isn’t it? And as we’re still hanging our hats in Wagga, that is home for another two weeks, with pre-pack 2 weeks today and uplift on the 17th August. Then we’re westward bound to Dubbo.
Thank you for the congrats on the sale. I’m still in a state of disbelief in a way and this journal entry/announcement was my way of thanking vicki for buying it. Its a sort of farewell gift, which I think is really sweet.
I’l glad you like it too; I found it in a museum and art gallery in Glasgow and simply couldn’t resist. it was so stunningly captivating and almost demanded to be captured so she could be shared and seen by more than just the visitors to the gallery. She’s very photogenic too and such a good model. Didn’t flinch once or pull a face! lol!..xxxxOo
