Macro Mania
As a massive devotee of macro photography, I seem to have accumulated a plethora of such shots. More than I can fit onto one, or even two calendars.
So this one is dedicated to my grandfather, whose passion for photography spurred my own, to my parents, who encouraged me with my first camera at the age of 10 and later a super 8 movie camera.
Then last but by no means least, my photography teacher who first placed an SLR with macro lens into my hands and sent me off to the botanical gardens.
The fascination this experience birthed in me has grown to something approaching an obsession, with this calendar ~ and two others to date ~ the result.

Having selected the theme for this one, I didn’t know if I’d have enough which I hadn’t already put into two other calendars.
But I found my words in the description were true! lol!
And there were some long forgotten shots buried amongst the multitude which populate my profile….oooh! just remembered another I should include, maybe…

THank you Julie for your wonderful kind words…I am flattered and greatly humbled by such affirmation.
The reason I made this and put these particular images together was to have something to suit guys. To confess, I was thinking of our two sons and nephews, and I just didn’t think they would be into flowers, delicate raindrops or sunsets n stuff.
But coincidentally I think these images have actually complimented one another.
